20 July 2013 - 21:29 [Datacenters in Basel, Switzerland, are now operational]
Our new Datacenters, DC10/11/12, in Basel, serving Switzerland, Italy and France, are fully operational.
Our largest ever portable build has gone online today with initial capacity for 10.000 users, 6.000 servers, 15PB storage, 3 dual redundant fiber links, 3 redundant 4g links and full integration with our cluster.
Currently we are running a full live mirror of dc1 - dc9 and have increased the initial storage capacity threefold. Getting a live mirror of a 5PB storage zone within 24 hours has been a challenge to say the least, thanks to Orange, Google fiber, KPN and AMS-IX we made it happen. Once we finished our last test fase we’ll be setting up client infrastructures, which will be ready in about 2 weeks. Starting august the 5th you can expect to receive your login and entry point information packs.

Willkommen Switzerland !
Our NEW Datacenters, DC10/11/12, in Basel, serving Switzerland, Italy and France, is going into build fase II.
Our largest ever portable build will go online this summer with initial capacity for 10.000 users, 6.000 servers, 5PB storage, 3 dual redundant fiber links and full integration with our cluster.
As always without any air-conditioning required (oil cooled), super low energy usage (auto scaling), hardware encryption (HGST (SED)) and second layer client controlled storage encryption (triple AES). It is also our first build completely underground.

Online Backup for Businesses already included Rsync backups, FTPS access which allows you, next to your online backup files and their history, to manage your website(s) and now add’s Dropbox alike way of working !
Simply mount your Online Backup account on any machine or mobile (sslvpn.ecsdc.eu:443) on your own or in a group and away you go.
Need a group drive ? add a member for only 2,95 Euro ex.tax a month.
Compatible with SFTP Net Drive, Cyberduck, ExpanDrive, SRT WebDrive and Swish !
